Winter Wedding Perfection…that’s the only way to describe it…and the best part IT WAS VALENTINE’S DAY!

Helena came to us last fall after visiting the VanCleve Wedding Pavilion where she said “Yes” to the dress to chat about her winter wedding planned for Valentine’s Day at Hotel Monaco.

Ivan is here in the United States for work so their families traveled from Europe to celebrate their wonderful wedding.  They were all there to witness the first reveal in the lobby area of Hotel Monaco.

With a small intimate ceremony and dinner planned for later and no bridal party, we had 2 hours touring the city photographing this GORGEOUS couple 🙂

We knew there was a chance for snow but had no idea just how perfect the day would unfold…and the best part, Helena and Ivan were game for everything we threw at them.

Just across the street from Hotel Monaco is the Second Bank of the United States and that was our first stop for photos…

We are familiar with the Independence Hall area and knew the opposite side of the bank has beautiful marble steps and a rod iron gate that would be perfect for photos…this was when the beautiful soft fairy tale snow flakes began to fall  🙂Broad Street and the Philadelphia Museum of Art were next on the list…and as we pulled out of the museum we pulled over at the last minute to capture the awesome texture of stone against the softness of our bride…LOVE!

We had some additional time when we got back to the Hotel and took advantage of the incredible interior that Hotel Monaco has…we could have done the entire shoot inside!  We can’t wait to get back there 🙂

Their ceremony was quaint and performed in front of no more than 15 people…it was so charming and heartfelt, I couldn’t be happier for Ivan and Helena.

We are so lucky and honored to have met and been a part of their wedding day.  We had an incredible day and haven’t enjoyed a snowy winter wedding like this in quite awhile.  All the best to you both!
