This week’s Flash Back Friday post belongs to Capri & Nathan.  Their wedding at The Waterfall in Delaware was a beautiful event and we can’t wait to show you some of the moments we captured.

We spent the first part of the day preparing for the nuptials, Capri and The Waterfall‘s bridal suite and Nathan a local hotel.  We love when couples go the traditional route and wait until the aisle to lay eyes on each other!

The Waterfall has and incredible outdoor ceremony space.  The work they did during the off season has really made an amazing difference!  Speaking of the aisle…pretty spectacular walk if we do say so ourselves.

The ceremony was perfect and all of their custom details really made it unique.

We spent time during the cocktail hour photographing the bridal party and the newlyweds with enough time remaining that they were able to enjoy part of their pre party.  If cocktail hour is important to you, we’ll make it happen!

The grounds at The Waterfall are beautifully maintained and the perfect backdrop for portraits, and with this amazing couple we could have been out there for hours!

We love working with all of the staff at The Waterfall.  They do a wonderful job hosting and taking care everyone and even the tiniest of detail.

The reception went off without a hitch and every guest was on the dancefloor celebrating the newlyweds.

We had to  get outside for one last photo op before the night was over.  The fire element outside at The Waterfall just makes for amazing photographs!

Congratulations Capri and Nathan!  Your wedding day was amazing from start to finish, we’re honored to have been a part of it.

Today we’re flashing back to my favorite couple of the 2017 season so far…Nina and Andrew’s wedding was hosted by Cescaphe Event Group at Tendenza, and it was PERFECTION!

You’d never know by looking at her, but this room was full of anxiety and buzzing bridesmaids, we had mother nature looming overhead and the ticking of a clock that couldn’t have been louder…in the midst this beautiful blushing bride with a smile that lights up a room.

Nina was surrounded by her favorite people in the morning who made sure every curl was in place and every detail double checked…but you could tell all she wanted was to see Andrew…

Andrew spent the morning preparing at the house they share together with his groomsmen.  Anxiety fueled and visible jitters, you could tell all he was thinking about was seeing future wife.

And now for the part that only exists in fairy tales…the most people first reveal I’ve ever photographed…I’d be lying if I said there were no tears hiding behind our cameras.

The images speak for themselves, what a beautiful moment.

We had a few stops to make before their ceremony…first up, the iconic Broad Street shot…

Next we headed down to Race Street Pier.  Remember I mentioned a questionable forecast?  It couldn’t have been more beautiful, truly.

And we just had to stop traffic for one more shot…

Cescaphe Event Group‘s venue, Tendenza, was housing their ceremony and reception.  There’s no question when it comes to CEG that everything will be taken care of from start to finish.

The ceremony went off without a hitch and their guests were able to enjoy an amazing cocktail hour immediately following.

We always participate in the room reveal, and had to steal a few moments alone with Andrew and Nina…

There’s a special place in my heart for these two, and I couldn’t be more proud of the art we created.  Congratulations Nina and Andrew, it truly was an honor getting to know you both and photographing your amazing day.

We’re starting the weekend with this amazing #FlashBackFriday write up.  Jennifer and Joseph’s wedding at Ballroom at The Ben was quite the event…but it all started at the Loew’s Philadelphia Hotel…

Separated by a few floors, we spent the beginning part of the day getting ready for the first reveal…

The hustle and bustle of nerves and energy was electric, while mother nature had other plans for us that day, we still found an incredible backdrop for their first reveal.

Sometimes a sheer white curtain on a sky-scraping hotel is the perfect spot…

We spent a few minutes with the married-couple to be and took full advantage of the space.

The simplest of backdrops tend to be the most dramatic, rain?…what rain!

We finished up with family portraits at the hotel before we headed off to Ballroom at the Ben for their ceremony…but of course only after we pause for a moment in the lobby!

Mazel Tov!

Ballroom at the Ben underwent some renovation and redecorating in the off season and it’s BEAUTIFUL!  We certainly didn’t expect anything less…

Finley Catering and the Don Eaton Band were flawless from beginning to end.  Every guest left raving and with a night they’ll not soon forget.

…one last stop on Broad Street!

Congratulations to you both!  It was an honor being a part of your incredible day.

Happy Friday studio family!  Today we’re flashing back to Judy & Martin’s wedding at The Union League of Philadelphia…scroll on and enjoy!

We started the day getting ready with Judy and Martin at The Union League.  They decided to wait to lay eyes on each other until their ceremony so we made sure to capture every detail so now they can see what the other was up to.

Their ceremony at St. Augustine’s was beautiful.  The church is an incredible piece of Philadelphia history and so much about the architecture is amazing.

Had to sneak up to the balcony for one last shot!

After their ceremony we strolled down Elfreth’s alley for some bridal party portraits and headed back to The Union league to finish up the portrait session.

We planned the day with enough time that Judy and Martin could enjoy their cocktail hour and so we were able to photograph the room and all their details.

The reception at The Union League was super fun, complete with a belly dancer and a special tribute to the newlyweds.

All of their guests had an evening they won’t soon forget.  Congratulations Judy and Martin!

It has been wonderful getting to know you both and we’re honored to have been a part of your special day.

We’re changing things up this week with a #FBF post, remember Tricia and Tom’s engagement session?  (click here if you missed it!)  Their wedding day was even more beautiful than we imagined…

Tricia and Tom’s wedding at French Creek Golf Club was perfect … despite mother natures attempt 😉

Tricia and Tom decided to wait until the aisle to see each other, so the morning was spent building up all the emotions you can imagine.

Tricia had a special moment before the ceremony to see her dad, and you can’t help but smile at these photos…

…and we can’t forget Tom and his groomsmen, they certainly kept us entertained!

French Creek Golf Club recently added an addition to their garden ceremony area and it’s gorgeous!  What an incredible back drop ((swoon))

We had a quick portrait session with their families and jumped right into portraits…and we’re thrilled with the results!

The ballroom was impeccably decorated, and as per usual not a detail left to chance.

Their reception was a blast, one of the most amazing Best Man speeches we’ve ever heard, we’re still giggling about it!

We had to steal them for one last photo op out by French Creek Golf Club’s iconic springhouse…this time we didn’t mind mother nature’s plan for rain 🙂

Congratulations Tricia and Tom!  Your wedding was absolutely beautiful and we’re honored to have been a part of it!
