The 2017 Wedding Season is underway and we’re featuring Ashley and Shane’s wedding at The Waterfall for this week’s #WeddingWednesday.

The home Ashley grew up in is where we began the wedding day festivities.  We had a quiet morning and thoroughly enjoyed all things prep before the ceremony.

Shane spent the morning surrounded by his friends as they helped him prepare for his wedding day…a little down time before the crazy is always good!

Their ceremony was beautiful and went off without a hitch.  We stayed for family photos on the altar and headed to The Waterfall for portraits of the bridal party and newlyweds.

The Waterfall is an incredible venue in Claymont, Delaware with beautiful grounds and space for amazing photographs.

We had a great timeline to work with so we started with the entire bridal party…

And kept Ashley and Shane for a few private moments before joining the cocktail hour.

We stole a few moments in the ballroom before guests arrived and had to snap one of our beautiful couple as they saw their room for the first time.

Guests were raving from the moment they arrived and kept the dance floor packed until the very last minute.

Congratulations Ashley and Shane!  It was an incredible day and we’re honored to have been there for you both.

All the best to you both!

It’s #WeddingWednesday and I think it’s safe to say Spring has arrived.  We’re throwing back to Erin and Michael’s wedding at The Lake House Inn to celebrate the SUN!

We spent the morning with Erin at the couple’s new home and enjoyed all things prep…

Still in the process of moving, their home was immaculate and filled with natural light…it was the perfect backdrop.

Michael spent the afternoon at the home he grew up in and we took full advantage of all the nooks and crannies…brought back some awesome memories of growing up that’s for sure.

The ceremony was beautiful and went off without a hitch, including the bubble send off!

The Lake House Inn is gorgeous any time of year so we were itching to get to the venue for the portrait session…and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

So many backdrops too little time!

The ballroom at The Lake House Inn is beautiful and we stole a few undisturbed moments before intros to capture the set.

And for the last HOORAH, the sparkler send off is iconic at The Lake House Inn, not to mention the nighttime facade of the Inn…absolutely stunning!

Congratulations Erin and Michael!  It was a pleasure getting to know you both and witnessing this incredible day.

This week we’re enjoying the sun that has finally peeked through!  So we’re featuring this sunny day at Radnor Hotel.  Chrissy and Drew’s wedding was beautiful from beginning to end.

We started at Chrissy’s home where she spent the afternoon getting ready with her Mom, sister and closest girlfriends.

Meanwhile Drew spent his morning thoroughly enjoying his time with the guys.

The ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi was perfect and just what these two were hoping for, we couldn’t have asked for a greater couple.

After the ceremony we had plans for a quick stop at Radnor Hotel and then we loaded up again for a portrait session at Eastern University.

We started the portrait session with the entire bridal party and were able to capture the newlyweds privately before we shipped back out to Radnor Hotel for cocktail hour.

One of our favorites parts of Radnor Hotel is their outdoor courtyard.  It’s the perfect spot for portraits and the gardens are beautifully kept throughout the year.

The reception and dinner following was top notch.  Tables were set beautifully and every guest raved about the food down to the last bite of dessert.

…and we can’t end the night without a send off.  We got together Drew and Chrissy’s bridal part for one last photo op and it was just perfection.

Congratulations to you both, it was so wonderful getting to know you and being a part of your incredible day.

Another #WeddingWednesday with another awesome couple of ours.  Meet Lindsay and Greg, their New Year’s Eve wedding at The Merion was beautiful to say the least…

We started the day at two different locations and spent the morning enjoying all things prep before the ceremony.

Lindsay got ready at the house she grew up in and was surrounded by her family and friends which made this first part of the day super special for everyone.

Greg also had time before the ceremony to enjoy the emotions and excitement of the pending “i do’s”.  His groomsmen were a blast and we were excited to see the day unfold.

Their Catholic ceremony was perfect, Lindsay’s ailing Dad was able to walk her down the aisle and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.  We’re honored to have been a witness 🙂

After the ceremony we took advantage of the Rolls Royce on Broad Street for the iconic city shot and headed to The Merion for the reception.

If you’re familiar with The Merion, you know they are known for their Grand Staircase and Grand Hall so of course we stopped for a photo opportunity, gorgeous right!?!?!

One of the best parts of The Merion’s Empire Ballroom is their foyer, had to stop there for a few too!

We were able to finish all things photography with enough time for Lindsay and Greg to enjoy their entire cocktail hour.  We photographed their custom details and prepared for an incredible wedding reception and  New Year’s Eve party!

The reception was a blast and guests left raving about the whole day from start to finish…and we can not forget to mention INCREDIBLE food 🙂

Congratulations Lindsay and Greg!  It was an honor to be a part of your special day and we’re so lucky to know you both and your families.

In honor of the #WeddingWednesday’s blustery weather we’re flashing back to Theresa and Brian’s New Year’s Eve wedding at The Merion in Cinnaminson New Jersey!

We met Theresa and her bridesmaids at the home she grew up in to begin the wedding day preparations.

We made sure to photograph all of her custom details and spent a few extra minutes with some beautiful natural light close ups.

Sometimes the most magical of moments happen without any direction at all…like a final glance in the mirror before seeing your Dad 🙂

Bryn Athyn Cathedral is AMAZING!  We took full advantage of the time we had there and captured Brian in his last minute prep.

The church was magnificent from the outside, and certainly didn’t disappoint once we were inside it’s walls.  Their ceremony was beautiful and we couldn’t wait to photograph the newlyweds in this setting.

Some of our favorite images in church typically come after the ceremony is over.  When the pews are empty and it’s quiet almost like a dream…

After we finished up indoors, we headed outside to continue with the gang.  It was FREEZING, but we had an incredible bridal party who were all up for anything we threw at them.

The limo was waiting for the troops, but we still had time for a private session…and everything about it was perfect.

Theresa’s cloak had us both dreamy eyed…it was like a Disney fairy tale.

Remember I said it was freezing!  For the sake of photography, nothing was stopping Theresa and we LOVED that about her.  These photos are just gorgeous.

We traveled to The Merion, whom I’m sure you know hosts quite the incredible event.  And not only was tonight special because it was their wedding but it was NEW YEAR’S EVE!  They pulled out all the stops and no detail left to chance.

The ballroom was magnificently set and beautifully lit by what was an incredible company MAZZ Entertainment.

In the spirit of New Year’s the bridal party showed up in Mummers fashion and thoroughly appreciated by this Philly crowd.

Everything was exceptional from soup to nuts, guests always leave saying incredible things about their experience at The Merion!

Once it came time for the ball to drop, MAZZ Entertainment live streamed the countdown on the big screen and the rest is history!

Congratulations Theresa and Brian!  You’re wedding was certainly one for the record books and we’re honored to have been a part of it all.
