This week’s #WeddingWednesday we’re flashing back to the holiday season for Jessica and Tom’s wedding at Mendenhall Inn.

One of the greatest features of Mendenhall Inn is the actual Inn itself.  It makes for a great location to prepare for the day and have all of your favorite people around you…not to mention knowing everyone is going to make it to the church on time!

We spent the morning with Jessica as she got her hair and make up finished and made sure to capture all of her custom wedding details…can you tell we LOVED her shoes!

Jessica’s mom and sisters helped her get dressed and it was definitely as fun as it looks.

We worked out a fabulous timeline that gave us the perfect amount of stress free time for photos in the room and outside before it was time to head to church.

Tom was also getting ready at Mendenhall Inn.  We made sure the bride and groom to be never crossed paths, another benefit of two photographers is perfect coordination!

We drove to Delaware for their ceremony in a GORGEOUS church and had just enough time after the ceremony for pictures outside at Mendendall Inn.

Their signature train tracks are an awesome backdrop for portraits.  We used some natural light and also shot for the silhouette, how incredible do these two look?!?!?!

We had Jessica and Tom all finished up in time for their cocktail hour and we headed into the ballroom to capture the room before guests were shown to their seats.

The Grand Ballroom at Mendenhall Inn is spectacular.  The up lights just really set the scene not to mention the incredible staff that leaves nothing to chance.

We had one last photo op before the end of the night, our favorite to photograph, the “goodbye” shot… perfection!

Congratualtions Jessica and Tom!  It was an incredible day and we’re thrilled to have been a part of it.

#WeddingWednesday this week features one of our favorite venues, Springfield Country Club.  Luciana and Bill’s wedding this past December was beautiful and we’re super excited to share.

We spent the morning preparing for the ceremony at the Courtyard Marriott that’s right next door, super convenient!  We had a great team of 2 photographers and 2 videographers that captured the entire day even when they were in different locations.

Luciana is from Brazil and so many of her friends and family were able to make the trip and be there to witness her wedding day.

Everything was perfect right from the start…

Bill spent most of the morning coordinating guests and transportation but we were able to freeze a few super important and fun moments.

The ceremony went off without a hitch and their bubble send off was the perfect way to start the second half of the day in the city for their photo shoot.

First stop was the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it was a cold and windy day but the bridal party was up for it so we got some great stuff!

We sent the group back to the bus and we stole a couple private moments with the newlyweds…

Next stop was Broad Street in center city…we stopped traffic and soaked in all the love and lights that is Philly…it was perfect.

We got back to Springfield Country Club and captured all the incredible details and the gorgeous ballroom.  We up lit the room with her favorite color and topped off the dancefloor with a custom spotlight monogram…every.detail.perfectly.

We can’t say enough about Springfield Country Club, Hikmet and the staff as AMAZING.  Nothing is left to chance and guests were raving from the moment they arrived to the very end.

We had one last treat for the guests of a sparkler send off…it was seamless and made for some beautiful images.

Congratulations Lu and Bill!  Your wedding was amazing and we’re thrilled to have been a part of it, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness 🙂

#WeddingWednesday this week showcases Michelle and Jason’s wedding at Pen Ryn Mansion, it was one of our FAVORITES from last season…

We spent the morning getting ready separately and certainly enjoyed the hustle and bustle of all things prep.

And how BEAUTIFUL is Michelle, we could have spent all day photographing her!

Jason and his groomsmen got ready for the big day right on property and we set up an awesome first reveal…

This balcony was the first stop, next we headed outside where they really would lay eyes on each other for the first time…

The grounds of Pen Ryn Mansion are beautiful.  There are so many backdrops to choose from!

Jason’s reaction to seeing Michelle for the first time was exactly what we had hoped for.  After a few minutes alone we ventured out with the bridal party to finish the portrait session.

The indoor ceremony was perfect from start to finish, and a great way to start the evening festivities!

Pen Ryn Mansion has a gorgeous staircase and we had to take advantage of the beautiful holiday decorations!

Pen Ryn Mansion is a wonderful venue, not to mention an incredible staff.  All of the guests were raving about the whole experience from start to finish.

As always, we stole the newlyweds away for a few final moments to end their spectacular day…

Congratulations Michelle and Jason!  We’re honored to have been a part of your big day 🙂

The month of February has us miss mother nature’s color, so we’re featuring a favorite from this past fall for #WeddingWednesday.

Stephanie and David’s wedding at La Massaria at Bella Vista was so perfect from beginning to end.

We spent the morning in La Massaria at Bella Vista’s bridal suite with Stephanie and her bridesmaids…

We had a perfectly planned timeline so we took advantage of all the minutes we had before their first reveal…stunning right?!?!?!

…and we have to throw in a few tid-bits from David’s intense prep, doesn’t look like their having any fun does it!

We’ve been to La Massaria at Bella Vista on many occasions so after talking to Stephanie and learning she had hoped to use the spring-house for the first reveal, we had it all mapped out in our minds before we arrived that day…sometimes having a photographer who is familiar with a venue really takes some pressure off…

Their first reveal was magical, and was complete with David’s tear 🙂

We had a few private moments with the couple before the bridal party came out to join us, and we certainly took advantage of it!

We were able to finish bridal party and family group portraits with enough time to catch mother nature’s light at it’s best during the golden hour, it was perfection!

La Massaria at Bella Vista offers so many incredible backdrops all within walking distance.  Everywhere you turn there’s another texture just screaming for attention!

Their ceremony was held inside and it was so romantic, just a perfect way to start the rest of the evening…We have to mention Silver Sound DJs as their uplights really made the room glow.

While guests enjoyed cocktail hour we photographed the room and made sure to capture every detail…most of which were custom designed by Stephanie and David!

The evening went off without a hitch, and we must also thank the staff at La Massaria at Bella Vista, along with Paul Evans of Silver Sound Djs for leaving nothing to chance.

Congratulations Stephanie and David!  It was a magical day and we’re so honored to have been a part of it 🙂

#WeddingWednesday this week is a special shout out to Brook and Chad who aren’t just newlyweds but newly-parents, congratulations!

We started the day at gorgeous Aldie Mansion with both Brook and Chad.  The prep suites are amazing, they’re the perfect location to get things started.

Brook spent the early hours getting prepared with her mom and bridesmaids, not to mention the beautiful flower girls!

Chad’s morning included a bit more fun and shenanigans as is par for the gentleman on the wedding day

…any wedding day jitters is nothing a game of Foosball with your friends can’t handle.

We were losing light quickly, as is the case this time of year, so we planned for a first reveal, and it was perfect.

We kept the couple privately for a tour of the grounds and some amazing photo ops, we couldn’t have asked for a better session to cap off the afternoon.

Aldie Mansion is very well known for its grounds, especially their signature string lit tree.  Brook and Chad both agreed this feature was the main reason they chose Aldie Mansion as their venue…and we’d have to agree it’s a pretty spectacular backdrop for a ceremony.

We headed inside for the reception and thoroughly enjoyed the evening with all of their guests.
It was an incredible day overall and we couldn’t be happier for you both.  Congratulations to you both and we wish you years and years of happiness together.
