This week’s #WeddingWednesday goes to Samantha & Daniel’s gorgeous wedding at Talamore Country Club.  Though the festivities started at Joseph Ambler Inn…Take a look!

Hair, makeup and all things prep took place in one of their cottage houses on property.  It was the perfect setting and we loved all the unique details that so perfectly fit her day!She had always envisioned spending these special moments alone with her mom, and it was the perfect way to start this amazing day together before the reveal to the whole group.

We got lucky with the weather and were able to venture outside onto the grounds for some portraits before we lost sunlight completely…and with how comfortable Samantha was in front of the lens, we could have spent hours with her alone!

Daniel also got ready at Joseph Ambler Inn, a separate cottage hosted the groomsmen and we were able to catch these guys in the act before heading out to the ceremony.

We had a special moment with mom earlier, so we had to have a special moment with dad…the perfect escort from the limo to the aisle to meet her husband-to-be…

One unique difference about our studio is our lighting capability… daylight savings and a desire to save the first look of bride and groom for the ceremony meant photos in the dark.  Thanks to awesome outdoor lighting at Talamore Country Club and our off-camera flashes and umbrellas we were able to have an incredible portrait session!

We always start with the entire bridal party and end with the newlyweds…gets the group off to cocktail hour to enjoy themselves and gives the couple some privacy 🙂

Talamore Country Club is an incredible venue and we’re thrilled to work with the entire staff.  The food is incredible and we work so well together, we can guarantee a flawless evening.

Congratulations Samantha and Dan!  It was truly wonderful getting to meet you both and celebrating this incredible day along side you!

Nothing like added pressure when couples are family friends…This week’s #WeddingWednesday features just that, like family, Jamie and Michael’s wedding at Radnor Hotel.

We often find ourselves at Radnor Hotel, and we don’t mind one bit especially when we have a relaxed morning in one of their suites with our bride while she gets prepared for “i do”

While the pair both got ready at the Radnor Hotel, we jetted off to the church early to escort guests and we had to take advantage of church lighting and architecture…Thanks Michael!

The ceremony was beautiful from the moment the sole of Jamie’s shoe hit the aisle.  It was a perfect start to the day!

We made plans ahead of time to stop at Eastern University to take advantage of their gorgeous campus.  Photo ops for daaayyyyssss!

To keep the day moving, we started with the whole bridal party and sent them off to party on the bus while we had to keep the bride and groom for a few private moments 🙂

We timed the day perfectly, the sun was setting at just the right time allowing us to fully enjoy the golden hour!

Two photographers were able to capitalize on the small window of time and we able to get two different shots at once, doesn’t get much better than that.

Jamie and Michael both felt that photography was super important to them and were willing to do just about anything we threw at them, and the results speak for themselves…

Even on their short walk back to the bus, when you think no one is watching…we tend to capture the perfect moment!

We got back to Radnor Hotel before their cocktail hour started and everyone was able to enjoy the entire evening without being pulled away…it’s probably one of the most popular FAQ’s we get…and the answer is yes, we can definitely get you there in time to enjoy your cocktail hour!

The reception was a blast, all of their guests were raving about the food, staff and entertainment.  It’s definitely going to be a tough day to beat!

Don’t forget our “good-bye” shot!  Had to sneak them outside for a few minutes with our off camera flashes and take advantage of the courtyard…

And take advantage we did!

Congratulations to you both!  We wish you two nothing but the best for years and years to come.

#WeddingWednesday is up again and we’re featuring Aubrey and Buddy.  They got married at Rockwood Museum and we’re super excited to share!

Aubrey spent the morning getting ready surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mom, it was the perfect way to start the day.

We can’t forget Buddy, we had so much fun during their engagement session we couldn’t wait to get back out in the field with these two!

We planned for a first reveal and spent the early part of the day before the ceremony photographing the whole group and an amazing private session with just the two lovebirds 🙂

The conservatory at Rockwood Museum is an iconic landmark of the estate, and we are so excited when we get to spend time hitting all the great spots on the grounds.

We finished our portrait session with enough time to relax before the formal “i do’s”.  We love to help our couples plan their day to make sure its as stress free as possible.

The reception was one for the record books, we had an incredible time with all of the guests and our cameras loved every minute.

We always plan to steal our couples away for a few minutes during the reception to photograph outside at night, and this evening had a super moon we could not miss!

Congratulations Aubrey and Buddy!  We’re thrilled to have been a part of your special day and wish you nothing but the best.

We are shouting out to Brittany and Mike this week for our #WeddingWednesday post!  Their day was incredible and we couldn’t wait to share…

philadelphia-wedding-photographerWhile Kelley was at the home she shares with Nick, we were at the Hyatt with the guys…who were thoroughly enjoying themselves 🙂

hyatt-at-the-bellevue-wedding-groomThe ceremony was beautiful and the perfect backdrop to their nuptials.  The timing of everything couldn’t have been better and we had tons of time for their portrait session at Belmont Plateau.

belmont-plateau-philadelphia-wedding-photographybelmont-plateau-weddingAfter we finished the portrait session we headed to Hyatt at The Bellevue to capture some portraits on their gorgeous staircase and in their ballroom before guests arrived…

hyatt-at-the-bellevue-weddingThe room reveal was pretty spectacular and we had a few moments alone with Kelley and Nick to capture their venue and custom details.

hyatt-at-the-bellevue-wedding-photosTheir first dance was quite spectacular…the balcony level at Hyatt at The Bellevue was filled with all their guests watching the couple partake in an age old tradition.

hyatt-at-the-bellevue-wedding-receptionBeing that we were so close to city hall we had to walk out to Broad Street for this photo op…and we’re thrilled we did.  LOVE me some city lights and a beautiful couple to photograph 🙂
