For this week’s episode of #weddingwednesday I bring you the story of two martial artists who fell in love and married to become quite the power couple (pun intended!)

Ashley and Joseph are amazing and their family and friends are fantastic.  We actually met Joe and his family when we photographed his sister’s wedding a few years ago.  We knew if this party was to be anything like the previous, we were in for an incredible day!

Their first reveal was perfect…the bridal party waited in the wings and then ran to join Ashley and Joe in a HUGE group hug.  For our first June wedding, the weather couldn’t have been better.

We finished all the portraits before the ceremony, as we promised to get these two to their cocktail hour on time!  Ashley and Joe are so in love with each other, you can almost feel it just looking at these images.  And of course we couldn’t help but play up the martial arts theme…If we were picking sides, team Ashley it is 🙂

Normandy Farm recently finished updating one of their ceremony sites and Ashley & Joe’s wedding was our first with the new backdrop.  It was stunning and perfect for the barefoot bride 🙂

The Grand Ballroom at Normandy Farm is beautiful, the white lights really add an awesome effect.  Of course we had to play up the martial arts theme a little more for their “room shot”…Our fisheye lens loves this room and we couldn’t get enough of these two.
