We’re pairing our favorite day of the week, #WeddingWednesday with our favorite holiday of the year, New Year’s Eve!

Kate & John’s wedding at the Franklin Institute was perfection, and we started with prep for both as they built up the butterflies for their first look.

John and Kate were surrounded by their family and friends, who also waited in the wings while these two laid eyes on each other for the first time…

It was perfect, their smiles couldn’t have been any bigger!

Their ceremony held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Old City, complete with a trolley ride for the entire bridal party.

How gorgeous is the inside of this church!  What a stunning backdrop for their “I dos”.

After the ceremony we all piled back into the trolley and headed to the Franklin Institute for the cocktail hour and reception.

We took advantage of the spectacular views on the steps of the Franklin Institute for portraits and got these two into their cocktail hour.

The reception space was jaw dropping, and uplighting just really made the space even more stunning…you just can’t go wrong with accent lighting!

Guests enjoyed their first and second course while listening to toasts and watching the newlyweds dance for the first time as husband and wife.

Guests were wow’d at every turn, not only were a few Franklin Institute exhibits open, but there was a Photo Booth available all night long.

If celebrating nuptials wasn’t incredible enough, we all rang in the new year together.  Nothing like starting off 2016 with a BANG!

Congratulations Kate and John!  We’re thrilled to have been a part of your incredible day, Happy New Year!

xoxo
