Have you ever said to yourself after an awfully long day at work…”i wish I could just be a professional ice cream taster!”  believe it or not that’s exactly what Leah said and years later an ice cream scoop wielding knight in shining armor, Casey, swept her off her feet and the rest is history.  Casey owns Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream in Berwyn, and Leah is the official taste tester 🙂  How amazing is that!

Springfield Country Club has become one of our favorite locations to shoot at, the venue is gorgeous both inside and out.  We planned for a first reveal and with the impending stormy weather, it really was the perfect choice.  This private moment between Casey & Leah was so touching, out of a movie for sure.

…and sure enough the MINUTE they said “I Do” and started walking off the aisle the skies opened up and it POURED!!!  Thank goodness it’s good luck 🙂

And of course with rain there’s a rainbow in tow…we were zipping around the course in golf carts and we spotted natures beauty and jumped out for a photo op.  Leah and Casey share a love that fairy tales are made of.  It was a perfect day and we are so excited to have been a part of it.

Springfield Country Club was transformed into a beautiful burlap/rustic/elegant backdrop for these two and their families.  With guests traveling from all over, their polaroid place card set up was epic.  Take your clothespin place card, shoot a selfie, hang it back up and find your seat…what an awesome way to capture all of your guests!  Top it off with special Bride and Groom Ice Cream Pop’s from Handel’s Homemande Ice Cream and the night couldn’t have been better!

We were worried the weather would prevent the spectacular sparkler send off, but mother nature let up just before the end of the night and we snuck these two outside and then cheered them on as their guests sent them on their married way.  Congratulations to you both, it was an absolute pleasure getting to know you both and we send you all of our love <3
