TGIF studio family! We’re flashing back this Friday to an incredible wedding day this past December for Mary & Nathaniel!
Mary lost her mom to cancer after a courageous battle, we had many special tributes to her throughout the day and felt her with us every step of the way.
Nathaniel and the groomsmen got ready at the Hotel Dupont in Delaware before the couple said their “i do’s” at church…
Their ceremony was beautiful and you could feel the emotion in the air especially when the groomsmen and then Mary & Nate paid tribute again to her mom.
Nathaniel and most of his groomsmen are huge ice hockey fans, so on a whim we decided to stop at IceWorks in Aston before heading to the venue. It’s hard for anyone to say no to a newlywed couple so we left the bridal party on the bus and went inside to try and get “ice time”. A stroke of luck or the powers above made it possible for us to get on the ice for some incredible pictures…Don’t know many couples that have ice hockey pictures from their wedding day!
Our last stop was Hotel Dupont which has such incredible architecture that we had to use it as a backdrop for formals. We’re in love with these photos!
Cocktail hour was amazing, complete with an open air photo booth that all the guests loved. The stage was set for their grand entrance…
The welcome they received was fit for a King and Queen. All of their guests filled the dance floor all night long and when they weren’t on their feet, the amazing cuisine was being enjoyed by all.
There were so many incredible moments, the list could go on and on, though we must mention Mary’s brother had a solid boy band performance that stole the show…even beat out a special visit from Santa! Plus we got to see 2 previous couples of ours, what an awesome coincidence!…
Congratulations to you both, it truly has been an honor getting to know you and we wish you nothing but the best life has to offer…though I’m pretty sure our wish for you has already come true…#ZiemerPartyOfThree
