Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center has become one of our favorite venues over the last few years. #WeddingWednesday this week features Amy & Robert’s wedding in the Grand Ballroom…
We had a traditional start to the day, we prepared separately and enjoyed the build up of emotion before the ceremony and the big reveal 🙂
St. Pius in Broomall PA is beautiful, it was a gorgeous backdrop to the nuptials not to mention a wonderful ceremony.
We traveled to Normandy Farm for the big portrait session and had the timing planned out so perfectly that Amy and Robert had some downtime before the cocktail hour.
Our favorite part of the day is always the portrait session between bride and groom, its usually the first time the couple has been alone together so it really makes the mood perfect for photographs.
Normandy Farm has done a TON of work to their grounds recently, so there’s endless opportunity for fabulous photographs…and we took advantage!
Not sure you noticed the Penn State Gartar in the photo above but both Amy & Robert are PSU Grads and as a surprise to Amy, Robert had the PSU Panther join the guests for cocktail hour! Of course we had to get a special photograph 🙂
The reception was amazing and the guests filled the dancefloor until the last beat dropped. Thanks to Dan with Silver Sound DJs for keeping our cameras busy 🙂
And last but certainly not least…our night time mimi portrait session…
Some of the best images come from those 7 minutes, we always tell couples they’ll be happy they snuck away for just a few moments…
Congratulations Amy & Robert, it was an incredible day and we’re so lucky to have been a part of it.
xoxo
