The month of May was filled with incredible and memorable weddings.  Mary Kate & Michael’s wedding was amazing and also the perfect start to the month!

We had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kate while she was living in PA.  When we heard her wedding plans and the venue she chose, we couldn’t wait for their day to arrive.  We love new locations to photograph and her parent’s property on the Chesapeake Bay would be the backdrop to her wedding!

Mary Kate and Michael decided not to see each other before the ceremony, so our coverage of the day began at 2 different locations.  We had a perfect itinerary for the day, and you don’t even have to ask, we always make it to the church on time!

We really couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather.  The ceremony ended and after a short ride back to her family home, we took everyone down to the beach 🙂

The tent was set perfectly for the reception, and guests were able to enjoy the cocktail hour outside on the water’s edge.  We stole away with the bride and groom for some incredible portraits on the dock by Mary Kate’s family sailboat *sigh*

There was great food and dancing had by all of Mary Kate and Michael’s guests…there wasn’t a single face that didn’t have a smile from ear to ear the entire night.

We had some amazing night time images in mind, and Mary Kate and Michael had wish laterns they planned to send up to the heavens with their parents right behind.  It was a magical day and we’re so lucky to have been a part of it.

Congratulations Mary Kate and Michael!  Thank you so much for having us, it was a true pleasure.
